The Konjac Cleansing Sponge is made from Konjac root. This is a high purity vegetable fiber from the Konnyaku plant and in its powder form it is colourless and odourless, highly absorbent and has steady water retention properties. Konjac is an Asian-cultivated, root-based vegetable that the Japanese have traditionally used as a detoxifying dietary staple, and as a calming, naturally exfoliating sponge for delicate skin. The sponge is gentle enough for the most sensitive skin types, is naturally deep-cleansing, pH balanced and can be used over the face, neck, and even the very delicate under eye area.

Konjac Root is naturally alkaline and balances the acidity of the skin’s impurities and oils. As a time-tested treatment, the Japanese have been eating Konjac for over 1,500 years. It was originally introduced to Japan as a medicine in the sixth century, and continues to lend its incredible benefits to health foods as well as skincare. Today, it is grown wild and in farms at very high altitudes, which help to keep the sponge extremely pure and free of pollutants.

The konjac sponge has natural weak alkalinity so it can help to keep the weak alkalinity status of human body, balance the PH level and it can also clean your face and body even without any cleansing milk or shower gel.

How to Use
1. Softening by soak in warm water for 3-5 minutes.
2. Gently expel the excess water in sponge and now ready for use. Wet your face also!
3. Massage your face/body with the sponge in circling direction, either with or without cleansing soap or foam cleanser.
4. After use, rinse it and dry it in a cool place for next use.
